What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser so it can recognise your session on the next page you open. Without some of them a shop cannot work at all, because the basket would empty every time you click.
What we use
Necessary cookies
These are set by the shop itself and cannot be switched off without breaking it.
- Basket and session – remember what you put in the basket and keep you with the same order while you move through checkout.
- Login – if you create an account, these keep you signed in.
- Security – protect forms against abuse and automated submissions.
- Caching – our caching tool marks pages that must never be served from cache, such as the basket and checkout, so you always see your own order.
Live chat
Our live chat is provided by Zendesk. When the chat loads it sets its own cookies so that a conversation you start stays connected to you while you move between pages, and so that our reply reaches the right visitor. Without them the chat cannot work.
Analytics and advertising cookies
At the time of writing we do not run analytics or advertising cookies on this website. There is no tracking pixel and no advertising network on eu-florist.com. The chat cookies described above are functional, not advertising. If that changes we will update this page first and ask for your consent where consent is required.
Payment
When you pay, our payment processor may set its own cookies on its payment page in order to carry out the transaction and to detect fraud. Those cookies are governed by that provider.
Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has stored and delete them, and lets you refuse cookies entirely. If you block the necessary cookies described above, the basket and checkout on this site will stop working.
